Scurty Skips the Blob

I can explain what I had to do in them.

First off, obviously do the shield bump and have player 2 guide me.

Second, player 2 stands, looking down, at where you see him in the video. Player one activates the loading zone and turns around. Player 1 jumps to get up to the blob.. as soon as he lands on the ramp player 2 holds forward and activates that load zone. The result is that load zone being overtaken by the blob cutscene and I gain control.

Third, this took me the most time to figure out. After you gain control of the character, player 2 can run straight to the load zone down the hall or have fun with the enemies. I opted for the latter. It doesn't slow you down although you may think it does. You have to go through the load zone down the hall before the screen turns white.. otherwise you will be transported back to the end of the cutscene in the blob room. After the white screens goes away, you move back through the loadzone and wait until the words that appear to go away. Then it is safe to go through the load zone.

I wish you could go through earlier but it doesn't seem possible.

Have fun summarizing that I just wanted ot explain why I opt to fight enemies when the cutscene is going on instead of going straight to the hangar bay.

Ah, yes, one more thing.

When you fail to skip the cutscene (you wouldn't gain control of the blob cutscene, you would gain control of the jumping out of the ship cutscene) somethign weird happens. You'll fall down into the water and hear a swoosh sound. If you exit to go to the main menu you hear the swoosh sound again. Then, finally, you start up another run of Keyes and you hear it a third time. Turn up the volume in the normal run near the beginning to hear two of these swooshes :)

themann, it takes about 20 minutes to perfect the shield bump, jusy watch a scurt Vid and position yourself on the same spot, worked for me. :)
