safe glue to use on a circuitboard -

Title says it all. The case on my pen drive cracked a little, and i need to use some kind of glue that wont damage the circuitboard as some of the glue will have to touch it. What kind could I use, will normal super glue work? low heat hot glue?
thanks for the help in advance, all my school work is on this drive. |

My guess would be that any glue that will hold to plastic should work; AFAIK glue shouldn't be conductive. (There are special 'electrical glues' which are conductive and are used to repair solder and things like that, but those are all made explicitly for that sort of work.) If your drive gets warm during use it'd probably be a better idea not to use a temperature-sensitive glue (like hot glue) so that the glue doesn't become pliable when the drive gets warm.
If the case is some sort of plastic, you'll need to make sure that the glue you use will bond to the type of plastic you've got, since many glues don't bond to some or all types of plastics. |

Like amaroq said, glues aren't conductive so you should be good.
I'd recommend epoxy. Good stuff. |

Yea, i was just worried that it might corrode the connections, or melt something.
Thanks. |
