![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Outreach A Lockout Recreation.. Lockout was one of the most popular maps in Halo 2. Blackout was its spiritual successor but wasn't close to being exact. After seeing so many Lockout attempts which ended up more like Blackout, I decided to work my hardest to make a map that looks, plays, and feels as close to the original as possible. Starting weapons, explosives, grenades, jumps, and spawns from the original are included. Going up grav lift feels almost identical except that its a bit louder. If you play a gametype with a Jetpack, you can get above the map. Shoot the DMR at the explosives at Sniper 3 and the sniper will fly in the middle of the map, almost always in your hands. I worked on this map for over two weeks with almost no rest until it felt like the original and I must tell you that I am proud of my accomplishment.[/color][/size] Watch It At SillyGooseGaming Watch It On My Channel Download Outreach 1.0 ForgeHub

It looks good. Though there are a few things that didn't feel right.
Dislike: 1. I feel the hole that leads to the green room needs to be bigger. 2. Green room seemed kind of cramped. I remember it being slightly wider in Halo 2. 3. The ramps seem kind of steep, but there's not much you can do to fix that. 4. If I'm not mistaken, the sniper tower plasma grenade spawn should have 2 grenades, not 3... But I suppose now I'm just being picky. Like: 1. I love what you did to the green room. 2. The lift works (almost) perfectly. 3. Placement wise(such as the rocks, weapons, etc.), everything looks orderly and neatly put where it's suppose to be. It's by no means a perfect remake, but it's a pretty good looking map worthy of a download. I'm gunna try to test it out with my friends tomorrow. :) |

I THINK that in Halo 2 here were 3 grenades there. Remember, you could hold 4 of each type back then :)

This looks about a million times better than the last Lockout remake I downloaded (it was called Lockout 3000, if anyone is looking for some lolz).
I'll probably download this after I clean out random/bad maps from my Forge World part, it's getting crowded and I wouldn't want to accidentally delete this. |

Very nice. I saw another Lockout remake and this looks amazing in comparison. The only way this could be any better is if Forge let you custom-make pieces.

Wow great job. Must have took forever to make this. Lockout was/is my favorite map! To bad we can't superbounce to the top am i right? haha
