Do you think we'll ever find a glitch to walk though walls without the use of forge? I think it'll be cool to glitch through one of the walls at bottom snipe on The Pit.

well, that's because they're the same thing. You could say an overjump is a bunny hop off of an elevated surface.

Walking through walls? It'd have to be because of bad game design.
Getting through walls? There are so many ways.

Without clipping or forge.

No that won't happen because you won't get godmode and no clip through walls like you would with CHEATS.

What is the camera's Field of View in Halo 3? Also, is it possible to determine the focal length as well? Basically I want to know all about the virtual camera in Halo 3, if anyone has that information. I heard that the FOV was 70, but then somewhere else I read that it was 40-45, which seems absurd. Anyone know?

Halo2Freek, did you try pressing that button combination for Pan Cam? I remember while in Pan Cam mode it would display coordinates and such.

I think this screenshot indirectly tells us the Field of View Reach is using. The radar is divided in to 8 segments which means each slice os 45 degrees. 2 slices at the front (which if it is like previous Halo's indicate the visibility) mean that the FoV is 90 degrees.

What I am wondering is how different is this from the previous Halo games? I remember BigShow always mentioning how 2 and 3 cutdown the FoV but I cannot remember the numbers.
Dunno if this helps, still editing.

Pan Cam only shows the camera coordinates and rotation, and the speed the camera moves. It doesn't show the field of view. If the FoV in Reach is in deed 90 degrees then a lot of Halo fans will be happy. If I remember correctly the FoV in the Halo 3 Beta was 90 degrees, and in the retail version I've read that it's 70, but my expiriments show that it's closer to 50. I want to know for 100% sure so I can make perfect spherical panoramas.

do some in-game measuring in forge. Place a small object on the floor and stand on it. Now look at a wall and look at spots you can recognise (such as certain lines on the wall etc). Do that on both sides of your visual. Now connect these these points on the wall first vertically to the ground and then in streight line to the object you started on. ( use walls and double boxes). Then simple go into theater, fly streight above the corner and than put that thingy you use for math, and measure the corner on yiu 50 inch tv:p. Theoraticly this could work, right???

Plan B: send an email to Bungie and simply ask.

If you cant follow plan A because of mu crappy english, I'm willing to help you with the forge thingy. GT= Bob NLD
