iTunes - 01-30-2007 , 09:26 PM

Well, I have a problem. My other thread is useless, cuz the people won't help me any further. Here's what I need help with:

I have 194 songs that need to go from this (Windows) to my new Laptop (Mac OS X Tiger)

Now, isn't there some way to do this using iTunes? (Hence the title name)

Please help, and if not, then can you give me another way?

Thanks.

There is a filesharing option in iTunes. But if you can't figure that out, just put all of the songs onto your iPod hard drive (through My Computer, NOT through iTunes) and just plug your ipod into the Mac. Then just drag them into a music folder or something.

you cant copy shared music over a network with itunes, you need to use another program, like this one http://ourtunes.sourceforge.net/
there are more, just search.

Set up a network between your Windows Computer and your Mac OSX Tiger... Thing...

Open up iTunes on your Mac and import the folder.

I've done this alot when switching computers. Heck, my dad's computer screwed up and we did it 83,539,604 times.

I can go even more in depth and go step by step, but I'm too tired. My dad could supply a tutorial...

Yeah, it's easier just to send the music along with all your other files over a network.

But I guess wizdum's way works too.

We already covered that in the other thread. ;)

And it appears that wizdum got it working anyways.
