Q - How do you Superbounce?

A - Watch ReiKo's Superbouncing for Dummies V2. It covers everything to do with Superouncing.

Q - I cant get live for my Xbox so I was wondering if I can do Superbounces and jumps on regular multiplayer.

A - Superbounces can be done without Xbox Live in System Link, or even on Campaign! For some Campaign and Multiplayer bouncing tutorials, please view The Archive.

Q - What is a crouch spot?

A - A crouch spot is the beginning of the process of a superbounce. It must keep you crouched if you let go of the crouch button. A crouch spot can be anywhere on any map, as long as you can stay crouched without holding down your left thumb-stick.

Q - How do you find Superbounces?

A - After finding a crouch spot, you must find a spot where you can bounce. Go to an area, and press Start and then open up your friends list. When exiting your friends list, the map goes to textures for a moment, and the line where two or more textures meet is normally where a superbounce can occur. Remember, you can't jump on to the Superbounce spot from the same level that it is on. You have to jump onto it from above.

Q - Do you have to have a PAL xbox to superbounce?

A - You can have either a NTSC or PAL Xbox to superbounce. They have been known to have a little effect on some bounces though.

Q - Can somebody show me how to do this bounce over Xbox Live?

A - The Official Bouncing Helpers would love to help you out! Just head on over there.

Q - Do you need Xbox Live to superbounce?

A - No, Xbox Live has no effect on superbouncing.

Q - Is it true you can get banned from MatchMaking for Superbouncing?

A - No, it is not a bannable offense, but it is very highly frowned upon.

I've got a theoretical question on the french bouncing

I think its well known that you can bounce after you have made a bounce or a mini bounce... So why then just not bounce the first time with a french bounce but ten do the normal ones because it's stupid to always press crouch...

ps: is french bouncing easier?

first off, letting go of crouch makes you lose your bounce. in crouch bouncing, its like pressing crouch in a normal bounce. it makes you lose your bounce.

secondly, french bouncin is easy, but it can be difficult and you have to find bounces with close landing spots in order to do them. for example, you have t have the speed of and oddball or juggernaut in order to the the "j" building bounce.

there are disadvantages to this crouch method also. first of all, it is a lot slower and takes more time. also, shouldnt be used in matchmaking (for those who do) for the reason above.

how do you do bounce out of sanctuary. I know the one waterboy72 found but I saw another one at the side of the red base. Anyone know how to do it? Is there a vid of it?

When im trying a new bounce and im just getting a mini bounce/falling through the level, how do i know if i need to hold forward, tap forward before i land, stop forward in midair and land on the spot, etc. Is there a way to tell or do i just have to keep trying things?

thanks

you are definetly on the right track if you fall through the map. you need to just try moving to the left and right a little bit and try different variations with the thumbstick. you are really close to getting the bounces. all you have to do is keep trying and use different methods of tapping/holding/moving the left thumbstick.

something else i just thought of, can ALL J's (on the gravel) be bounced on? cause ive only gotten two in headlong

Ok guys, I have updated all the links in the Helpful Link section, added a few more FAQ's to the list, and added a new rule. I plan to start taking better care of this sticky, I'm sorry for letting it slip for a little while.

Also, look out for a new layout in the near future. ;)

no. the ones you got were probably on invisibale gridlines. so you shouldnt be able to bounce on a texture mark on the ground. i dont think it makes a difference what shape it is.

Any1 still got the Pal-50 Tactical Bounce Montage by JuMp1nG v2 & LuMPr1??? Cuz i really want to see it, i only seen part 1,3, and 5.

What do you guys look for to find a monster on either Headlong or Terminal?

monsters are difficult to find. basically they are randomly found. i think you should look for something small to land on. try that. but on terminal, you crouch and walk agaist the border where you walk up, but you wont walk up if you are crouched, and for those, you look down , when you cant move any further up, then you look straight down and you shoot the ground. that is how those monsters were found.

i was just wondering, how do u guys slant bounce? I mean every time i try i just get a mini bounce. Any tips?

find a slant that you can actually walk on, these are the easiest to do. then, when you are falling down over the slanted edge, you tap forward before you actually hit the slant. you want to tap about 5 times in order to do it. also, dont ecpect to do it every time. it takes practice, like all bouncing does.
