Well, I'm comparatively new to H1 tricking, so what you are going to see is nothing extreme or insane. It's rather some fun launches that I've done recently.

Yeah, the doubles give you the bit of extra power ;)
The song - well - I just stole it from one of SRL's videos and he does not say it's name, so I don't know. You should ask him, he's now SamFukal.

I liked the video, you got some solid launches. I got some advice tho: try to edit out the parts of the clips where the other player kills himself and respawns... unless the entire video is only 1 clip, because we just want to see the launch, not the respawning of the other player. Also, u need more launches to put into the vid, cuz it didn't have that many. Other than, good video. I hope you continue tricking in Halo 1 and I hope this sends a message to everyone that H1 tricking isn't dead, and that whoever wants to start launching in Halo 1 should start now cuz a couple people just started, so you guys can help each other out (I just started half a year ago myself).



I loved the double btw... Can u try to do a double shade launch like slynki did? That would be so cool. Also, besides the banshee launch, I tried to scorpion launch (and failed multiple times ). Maybe you can try that too, or even a wraith launch lols.

Sorry Chrizzel, we used to have a How to Launch video, but it got lost in the sands of time. Can anyone make a new how to launch video, while everyone is still interested? That would be great.

Really great job with this video, HB. I liked it a lot. Good to see that you're giving Halo 1 launching a try! The 14 grenade launch was pretty funny. I love when your grenade piles do that unexpectedly. A long time ago I was attempting to pogo launch out of the AoTCR pit (the one inside), and my warthog smoked the ceiling o_O

I liked the launch to the beam on Silent Cartographer, the launch to the banshee pillar was simply choice, and that double shade launch couldn't have looked sexier. Very good job, well done. I look forward to more =D

I'm going to be working on a series of videos called Launch School. Sadly, it'll only feature how to launch in co-op. I was never that extraordinary at single player tricking. Someone more knowledgeable than me will have to step up to the plate on that one. I could probably make a tutorial video for marine collecting on Halo, but SC and AoTCR? Eek...

Already done.

SC is really easy, just keep the marines alive at the start of the map.

AoTC... I don't even have the patience to try...

I have a save in AOCR with a nice collection of marines.
IIRC, I would load them on the scorpion and take them back to the area under the first bridge. I had to make a ramp out of a ghost to climb the ledge.

Hey that was pretty good, nice introductory launches. You seem to have the essentials down, I like. I hope you do some more, judging from your Halo 2 contributions, you definitely have the mind for it. I hope you enjoyed it and you keep at it. =o

As far as the "How to Launch in Halo 1" discussion/idea thingie.... I thought about it. I definitely don't have the time now, and besides I was never that good at halo 1 launching anyway. =| I'd be willing to help contribute if someone were to attempt such a thing, I have clips and stuff.

If anyone needs some pointers on single player launching, I'm usually available, and my memory is kind of phonebook-ish with Halo 1, so I can probably help you in most situations. Well I took the links down because, since nobody posted saying 'link not working', I thought it was only my computer that was drawing a blank.
