Maybe if you did the Legendary runs in higher quality, i can cap the rest (haven't tested the old card yet, crosses fingers). I will compile a list and grab the files within the week.

The Halo CE table has been repaired. I managed to find ALL of the original videos and converted them to h.264 using HandBrake (highly recommended). All Halo CE runs under 10 minutes in length are also on the YouTube channel.

Yes! We finally found an extremely simple to use batch converter which works on PC, Mac, and Linux using the (almost) latest h.264 codec.

Basically it sounds like the runs will be ready much faster now. Normally you have to go one at a time with a converter, but now they can put in multiple videos at once and have them converted.

Also, I figure, I do enough procrastinating anyway, might as well do something productive with it! If you want me to do any matching of newsposts to runs down the line or something (or even do some rewatching and create new summaries for old runs) I'll be happy to help. Just give me a nudge and the relavant keys.

i figured out how to do this - i will give people who volunteer permission to edit existing posts (which will be held as drafts) until they are all done, then group publish the entire site with the press of a single button

but first i have to get LoL's list, input all of the runners names, and have all the videos uploaded to YouTube

i am up to QZ in my quest to re-encode all old runs

Question: Are Jeff Cousins & lAbsolutel the same person?

Been working on gathering email accounts, most of the Halo 3/ODST I have gotten from the email receipts. The Halo 2/1 people and GNF fast are harder to get a hold of. I'm trying to PM people their accounts to see if have an email account. I'll try to get more work done this weekend.

For those interested in making this process go easier, please update your contact info on HIH with an email address, especially for those old timers who have been around since the Halo 1 days.

I wouldn't worry about the email addresses of retired runners. Account activation will only be required for runners who wish to control their own content and submit new runs. We will control the accounts of everyone else. There will be a note on the site as to how retired runners can contact me if they wish to activate their account.
