Attention dudes:

I have been contacted by one of the gents from 343, and they'd like to create a farewell video of some of the best of the best stuff from HIH for Waypoint.

I have sent them some great Halo 1 stuff, but I told him I didn't know where to start with Halo 2 stuff. He said he's rather just have stuff from the older titles.

SO, I'm wondering if you could could get together and recommend lets say 5-8 videos that represent the best of the best of Halo 2 trickery.

He said that the footage needs to be obvious in what it shows. I know that some of the 2 1/2 hour variety vids were good, but I'm not thinking they'll be what he can use. Again, we're not sending them videos for editing quality, but the best of the best for TRICK content.

We've got until Thursday. Can you guys hook me up?

There has been too many awesome things done in Halo2 though. Too much to list I guess. We need help from the oldskool trickers aswell. I will try to do my best with adding things. I hope grumpy sees this, he is quite up to date with the tricking archive.

We should make a list of the great tricks that have been done. Every-one should be able to add stuff and discuss it, we select the best of the best from that list. I'll try to do my best and add stuff aswell.

This is really great, It's good to see that HIH is going out with a bang! and not with a whisper

X has really good ones but the only one I want to submit from myself is getting the OS tunnel gun in SP.

May i remember you that duke/343 are looking for vids which need no explanation. A BAW-launch or something sure is super-mega-awesome but that's not what they are looking for.

The first thing that came into my mind was the launching to the scarab gun using that tiny box. Epic launch.

Well, I can't do too much about this.

Tomorrow I'm away and wednesday I have school all day long.

Finally after 4 months the sun shines and the temperature is bearable, so I'm outside. 3 days is too short to make a video list i.m.o, I just don't have the time for it. I hope some other people come here and finish the list.

I really can't think of any amazing tricks off the top of my head. I remember watching a video a long time ago on outskirts or metropolis where the players drove a warthog to a hole in the bridge, and then a player got off the turret in the warthog while looking up through the hole in the bridge, and immediately sword lunged to the scarab through the hole. As far as I can recall they were trying to get the scarab gun that way. I don't know if they ever accomplished their goal, but in the part of the video I watched they were not doing so hot. If they did it it'd be a good candidate I think.

Yes, thank you. I was just going over the MP stuff so this helps a lot. Those are all Mythica links on epidemic, can you find archived (mirrored) stuff?

Hm. Odd that KORHAL doesn't have a section in the Trick Archive. I checked on V2, and he DID do a ton of stuff on QZ.

During the search, I happened upon a pretty good one by POTS - "Conquering the QZ Canyon". Check out "bottom to top" @ 2:39!

Methinks that submitting lots of big launches is key.
