I'm one of the newer guys. In June 2009, I searched Youtube for a Tutorial on how to get off the Quarantine Zone Gondolas in Halo 2. I stumbled upon a video of a prestigious member of HIH, namely grumpy. He lead me to HIH, where I finally found amazing stuff done in Halo which I had never dreamed of. After trying to follow some of the Tutorials, I decided that Campaign Tricking was fun and the way to go for me. I became grumpy's tricking apprentice and started pulling off tricks myself, of which some are shown here. Halo 1
H1 Launching Fun
I have not done very much in Halo 1, besides experimental videos. Actually, I've made only one real video, namely this one. It's rather some fun launching, but it hit pretty well.
This one is definitely my prime video. An incredible ammount of time and work went into this, and I'm glad to say that I got this challenge finally done. An absolute Must-Watch. I also recommmend to read my first post in the forum thread, to get an idea of what's actually going on. [Link"> Youtube [Link"> Forum Thread Conquering the Control Room Pit
A long time, the Control Room Pit has been covered by a deathbarrier. Together with grumpy, surtic and xlax007 I've found a way to finally bypass the killzone, so we had free access to the pit. Of course I could not resist to launch back to the top, then :)
Well, the title says it. The reason why I like launching in SP so much is that you can just quit if you are done, other than launching in coop until you are driven insane. I got to a couple nice spots in this video, including the top of Oracle. Awesome Guitar Solo at the end...
People have got to the bottom of Oracle before me, but nobody got to the bottom of the map where you have to cut the cable, since there's a deathbarrier. Because the cable area is separated form the normal area by a loadzone, there happens some interesting stuff on the structure. Floating boxes in the middle of nowhere and stuff...
I don't really know, but this place is kind of magic. There used to be another method to get down there, but this one was really tricky, so I decided to come up with my one. The method shown here is way easier and the video is made as a Tutorial, so you can explore that place yourself.
People have wondered about how to get down there, so here's the video. I was not the first person down there, but there has never been a Tutorial on it. The whole process of getting down there takes a lot of time.

You can ride a Sentinel to the very bottom of the map. This Tutorial shows how to do this and how to get the Sentinel there. There are Sentinels a bit later in the level, but those don't want to cooperate as nicely as the ones I take in the video.
[Link"> Youtube Same here, no real Forum Thread. Inaccessable Wraith to Gameplay Area
In the big hallway on Quarantine Zone, there is a Wraith on a platform far away from the normal area. You have to launch or to swordfly to get over there. I managed to launch this Wraith to the gameplay area. To launch a Wraith, you need a Scorpion, so I had to launch one over there and get back, all in one Checkpoint. The audio in the video is kind of messed up, sorry for that.
This one is my first real trick video, and it looks like my first one. I did some shaky cam videos before, but when I got my CC, this was the first one I made. The video features launching back to the top on both sides of the canyon.
People said that in that pit were a lot of unexplored places so I got down there and looked for them. It turned out that there were not as much places to explore as I thought of, not only because of the deathbarrier. At least I could launch past the barrier back to the top.
[Link"> Youtube No Thread on this one, I never showed this video before. Two Lucky Launches
Well, I've set up a grenadepile on the SI Gondola and got two epic (lucky) launches, which I did not aim at, at all. The second one got a conversation about launching without taking damage started. We've never really found a possibility to use this glitch effectively, though.

In this Tutorial I explain the logistics and the odds of setting up a launch in SP. I made this right after my SP Launching Variety.

I don't really take credit for this one, because I was not the first one to do this, actually. Duelies originally performed this, but the video was lost so I thought it would be cool to remake it.

On Sacred Icon, there is a hole in the ceiling of the Gondola Dock Area. I launched myself up there, later I even got there in SP (Watch my SP Launching Variety for this) [Link"> Youtube No Forum Thread
