Bungie has dropped a bombshell on the Halo community with promises of a least one more Halo game, a real time strategy prequel called Halo Wars, along with even more crazy stuff involving Peter Jackson himself. And more games.

I think the Halo wars game should be pretty awesome, it's from Ensemble Studios (the studio that makes the Age of Empires series), and they're known for their awesome RTSs.
But the real question is what is the Peter Jackson thing is going to be about? I mean, with Peter Jackson at the helm and doing the story,
I think it's probably going to be awesome, but what's it going to be about...
And what's with the ZOMB, PotS?
Console RTSs suck by default.
The picture that bungie has just makes me drool. I've had dreams of playing Halo that is a HUGE map about 10x the size of Coag. I will be sure to get that game.

Just to clarify, my wording was a bit odd apparently. Bungie didn't really announce "Halo 4..." but they did say they were going to make more games, Halo related, and that PJ was making his own gaming studio, and was helping to work on Halo Wars, and that monkeys like to wear hotpants.
Go read the update and figure out what in there is true. Oh, and before you diss RTS on console, go play Battlefield Middle-Earth on 360. It's obviously not QUITE as good as RTS on PC, but it'll make you reconsider the plausibility of RTS on console.
Let's wait and see how it turns out first before we scream at it and throw feces, please.
