Vsheilds_ash (Vern Shields) is one of the guys who kept Halo tricking going long after the warm green glow of the Halobox had begun to fade. His unique personality, combined with his painfully wonderful loads of patience made him fun to watch and to interact with. The great news is that Madrox spent a great deal of time putting together an archive of Vern's Halo trickery, and I was so impressed that I moved the thread (without tweaking it at all) to our Trickster Archive section. There may be a video or two missing, but we'll remedy that shortly. Stop by, check out the videos, and relive some memories. :) Great job Madrox.

Wow, I still remember the day I ran into Ash on XBL. I was in BTB Skirmish with some guys, and Ash was an elite, sitting on top of the wheel in Zanzibar. I got up there with him and we started talking, then we hung out for about a day.

what he didn't tell you-
i'm in the middle of the wheel on zanzibar, and this enemy runs up...i assume i'm now dead, but nope. he says hi ash...turns around and says kill me, i'll help ya !!!!!!!!!!!!
now i like people like that, and this kids a nice kid for sure... but i'll bet his team mates hated his , er, guts :p
we gotta play more skirmish foo :)
