Game 1:

Map: Narrows
Rules: CTF, Multi, First to 3

Tone: We wouldn’t know.. we were rarely alive for more than 15 seconds.
The game started with Wicked making a worthy sacrifice as he went through the man cannon to collide with thejar4u. Metaphorically, the rest of the match went just like that except it seemed like instead of their player falling to his death, they would be magically transported to our base and as soon as they would grab the flag, they would appear out of thin air back home to score it.

Our opponents were fast – they could move around the map like little jackrabbits hopping from one ledge to another while dodging our BR shots and AR sprays. It took Team HIH Users an impressive 1 minute and 13 seconds to capture their first flag (Flag Capture by Shoe).





They then had momentum. They had our spawns held down and control over the entire map. Just over a minute later, they had a second flag cap (Flag Capture by ProJerkit). Wicked and Shrapnel kicked it into high gear and went for a flag. The made it back to our base with the enemy’s flag, only to be stopped a few feet short. I grabbed the flag and scored it just as Slynki ran off with our flag (Flag Capture by Pkabooicu). The score was 2-1 and the Users were on their way back to score… for the win. The staff tried to catch up to the flag carrier, but it was already over (Flag Capture by SlYnki).




It was a brutal and quick defeat. The beating lasted only 5 minutes and 23 seconds.

Game 2:

Map: The Pit
Rules: Team Slayer, first to 50 kills.

Tone: Dissapointing




After a pretty embarrassing first game we were all ready to redeem ourselves and show these members who is boss. However, this was short lived. The match started off with Team HIH Users pulling ahead by a significant margin. I tried to stay postitive, but then again, we had TNSGT on our team. We tried to come back, but SlYnki had a sniper rifle and the rest of Team HIH Users were picking us off one-by-one with their BR’s. The game ended soon after it had begun. We lost so bad that the final score was 51 – 33. Go Figure. It was an unacceptable defeat.

We had lost the best of three showdown. However, it was our pick, and we still had some fighting left in us.

Game 3:

Map: Guardian
Rules: Oddball, first to 100 points.

Tone: Excited
I hoped something would go our way for once, but the start of the game leaned in their favor. Our spirits were crushed after just 1 minute and 10 seconds into the game. Team Users, in blue, had already racked up an impressive 39 seconds. Our team had a pitiful 3 seconds. However, we played on. Jagged and Reidon brought a beating to the blue team and picked up 31 seconds. But we were still down. ProJerkit killed Reidon and tried to take the skull, but Wicked was there to stop the attempt. He picked up the ball and started to gain time. After gaining a healthy lead of 78 – 57, TNSGT picked up the ball.



He held it, uncontested, for the remainder of the map. We had finally won one, although it was the one match that didn’t count. We’ll get ‘em next time.
