I received a message from NOKYARD this morning pointing me to a congratulatory thread about a new speedrun record set by Ensnared Cadaver.

NOKYARD says "High Speed Halo has just received word that another of our speed runners has been featured in the Guinness World Records 2010: Gamers Edition for his Pacifist speed run on Floodgate. Halo 3 Pacifist is a speed run of a single Halo 3 Campaign Mission played on Legendary where you may not fire any weapons including the Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer, not use Grenades or Equipment, not melee (including unintentional melees), and must not die. In other words, you do nothing but run. Excerpt from the Guinness World Records 2010: Gamers Edition, Console FPS section, top of page 49: "4 MIN 15 SEC... the time it took Josh "EnsnaredCadaver" Hardy (USA), to complete Halo 3 level Floodgate without killing any enemies - the fastest "pacifist" Halo 3 speed run."
